What shapes family memories?

Tape recordings of my two gransmothers inpire the relationship between the two characters on stage. Personal memories interwine with the existing recordings, and form a new model of reaction. The cultural stories they tell are ripped from the original context, and provide a new outlook of family relations, and cultural patterns.
